This is my last wrap up post and will be highlighting the brilliant reviews that came in on 6th July for The Sentinel’s Alliance. As it’s the last part in the trilogy I was very nervous how the day would go, especially as 14 bloggers were reviewing, but I’m so happy to say the conclusion to the series was well received.
I’ve loved reading the reviews again and reminding myself that I really did achieve a whole trilogy. Not only that but a lot of people seemed to like it, some even loved it! That has made me very happy indeed.

First a spotlight post from Satisfaction for insatiable readers.
Now the reviewers blog links and quotes…
Radzy Writes – ‘…this is a strong novel in an excellently written series, and one I enjoyed a lot. If you’ve fallen head over heels for this series so far, I think you’re going to devour this novel.’
Mai’s Musings – ‘…amongst her beautifully crafted world, Suzanne Rogerson has created a story that kept me on the edge of my seat from start to finish, and I couldn’t read the book fast enough to answer all the questions forming in my mind.’
J Bronder Book Reviews – ‘This is a great conclusion to the series… I have really enjoyed this series and strongly recommend it to those that enjoy fantasy stories. There is a little bit of everything in these books. I can’t wait to read more from Suzanne Rogerson.’
K T Robson – ‘This has been a fantastic finale to the trilogy, it’s had everything that made the first two books to good and then some. All of Suzannes brilliant world building skills are still shining through… I have loved watching the characters grow and develop throughout this trilogy, and it was great seeing them band together for the final instalment.’
Seans book reviews – ‘The conclusion to this series was one of ups and downs. The characters are still strong and ones that I will remember for a long time.’
Jessica Belmont – ‘I love this series, and I’m sad to see it end. I took longer to read this one, because I wasn’t ready to leave this world or these characters. I love Suzanne Rogerson’s writing. I can’t wait to read more from her. I highly recommend this series! You won’t want to miss it!’
The Treasure within – ‘This book was EVERYTHING I’d hoped it would be. I’ve loved the first two books of the series, and was very happy indeed with how everything worked out in this one. I’ve fallen in love with pretty much the entire cast of characters, and by now, want the best for all of them. That, I’d say, is a sign of a good bit of writing!’
Yes more blogs – ‘WOW!! Unbelievable. Amazing. Brilliant. Wonderful. Beautiful. Just a few words to describe not just this book but the whole trilogy has been an undeniably amazing read… The world building is some of the best I’ve read. With a little bit of your own imagination you are transformed into a beautiful magical world. That has it’s highs and lows like any good story. I’m usually quite good at where a book is headed but this has lots of surprises, twists and turns which had me up most nights as I had to know what was going to happen.’
Pagefarer book blog – ‘…her skill lies in intertwining separate storylines, and in writing truly dislikable (yet sometimes nuanced) bad guys – and vice versa. She is still not shy about killing off main characters – which I quite enjoy!’
Terror Tree – ‘As I was reading this story, I thought I knew where this story was going, but there were a few surprises that I did not see coming and I did spend time just sitting in amazement at what I had just read. This series has been a great read and I have enjoyed watching all the characters grow and adapt to whatever was thrown at them.’
In de Boekenkast Link to review on facebook – ‘What a captivating and lovely fantasy book! …This fantasy series is fast paced, amusing and original with a lot of unexpected situations, characters that grow with every book and an intriguing plot line.’
Novel Kicks – ‘The writing is relaxed and easy to read, the story is well paced and doesn’t dawdle; keeping you drawn through the book. The characters are likeable, if a little thin in places, but all in all they are well formed.’
Cheryl M-M Book Blog – ‘It’s fantasy with a compelling plot and intriguing characters. Rogerson threads an undercurrent of romance throughout the fantasy, which then invites readers of other genres in for a read.’
Odd Socks and Lollipops– ‘…I love the world that Suzanne Rogerson has created and I was so not ready to leave the characters behind. The Sentinel’s Alliance is a wonderful conclusion to the series… The writing style was wonderfully immersive and the world building built on the earlier books brilliantly. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole series and I cannot wait to read more from Suzanne. If you like epic fantasy stories, then I would definitely recommend the Silent Sea Chronicles, they are a fantastic example of the genre.’

Wow, I’m overwhelmed with these reviews and feel so honored these bloggers agreed to read and take part in the publication day push. I hope you’ve enjoyed these snippets and have had a chance to check the reviews in more detail.
If you’ve been inspired to try the trilogy over the last few weeks of reviews and posts, then the good news is I will be keeping the sale price of each book in the trilogy at 99p for a few more days.

A QUICK PLEA TO EVERYONE – If you have read any of my books would you consider putting a quick review on Amazon and Goodreads?
I plan to approach the libraries about stocking my books and would love to be able to show them how much people have enjoyed the trilogy. I’ve also entered the Amazon storyteller prize. I doubt a third book would get very far in the competition, but its always worth a try. Thanks very much.
