This is the final day of the blog tour for Silent Sea Chronicles. Both books have received some wonderful reviews and here are a few more quotes I’d like to share from days 9 and 10.
J Bronder Book Reviews – A double review of book 1 and 2
The Lost Sentinel – ‘I loved this world and how it was written without a huge info dump. I loved the concept of twisting people’s beliefs of magic users into fear to control… I think this is a great start to a new series. I am very curious to see what happens in the next book and recommend anyone that likes fantasy stories to check this book out.’
The Sentinel’s Reign – ‘I really like how those raveled frayed endings from the first book are wrapped together and some of my questions answered. We find an end to one conflict but so many more waiting to strike in the shadows… This is a great series and one that any fantasy lover will enjoy. Now I can’t wait to read the last book, Sentinel’s Alliance to see how this finally ends.’
M M Cheryl Book Blog – ‘This is the second part of an intriguing high fantasy series with a compelling premise and characters. Rogerson delivers a solid read, which isn’t always easy when it comes to the genre. I am enjoying the read so far and look forward to the third book in the series, the Sentinel’s Alliance.’
Jess Bookish Life – ‘I’m still very intrigued by the magical aspect of this fantasy world and I do love to figure things out and learn about the rule (societal, cultural and magical) when dealing with a fantasy genre novel. So it’s always good when the author gives the readers some bits and pieces of information as then go deep into the series or world building. In that sense, this novel brings some extra stuff to us… Over all, love the book. If you like fantasy novels, you should check this out.’
Just Books – ‘Suzanne Rogersons world building and descriptive writing ensured that, once again, I could always see where in the world I and the characters were… I have become attached to many of the characters within the pages of the Silent Sea Chronicles and am looking forward to reading the final instalment.’
Mai’s Musings – ‘…Her vivid descriptions make me wish I could pay a visit to the Silent Sea and meet the inhabitants of Kalaya and Stone Haven in person… I enjoyed getting to know the characters better this time around, and really understanding what made some of them tick, finding out why they acted the way they did. For more than one this meant a major change of opinion about them, and my favourite characters were constantly changing. I found my emotions wildly bouncing from joy, to heartbreak, to triumph and everything in between as the story unfolded around them, and lives were changed forever.’
