You have some wonderful images on your blog. I love how you’ve used black & white photography, though the close up of the spider still makes me shiver just thinking about it.

Black and white is a big part of what I do, and you will also find posts with (MONO + COLOUR) in the title that are b+w with some of the original colour restored – via an excellent (and now free) software package called (Nik) Silver Efex Pro 2, which is available from Google – this Saturday’s post will be an example of this technique. One reason that I like b+w is that, being already one step removed from reality, it allows me to get as surreal and bizarre(!) as I please. A
